Experimental Aircraft Exhaust Manufacturer To Branch Out

With the first goal complete of three planned for this year in their revised business plan, Sonic Headers Inc. has additional opportunity to expand services that the manufacturer of experimental aircraft exhaust systems has to offer

Moving their production facilities to a larger location in Milaca, MN earlier this month has brought about an unseen gain for the company. President Todd M Hirsch stated "We are really happy with this location change and believe the community along with Sonic Headers will see a benefit from the move."

Proceeding into the next phase of the planned changes for the company in their second year of business is underway. Acquirement of more machines and tooling for the elimination of some outsourcing needs, purchasing of mock up aircraft engines for increase product development, and continued marketing strategies are among the goals for this year.

"I learned to be more fluid in the writing of the business plan" said Todd. "We experienced more growth in our first year than expected and have found many additional opportunities from it." The new plan allows Sonic Headers Inc. to grow where it wants and also branch out into unseen developments as they present themselves.

The location change is one area Sonic Headers discovered such a possibility. Milaca area businesses and community members may not be in the market for the products Sonic Headers manufactures, but there may be a need for some of their services. The creation of a second corporation to utilize the new location within the community has begun. Manufacturing experimental aircraft exhaust requires precision thin metal welding. The area has a very limited number of companies offering welding service.

Becoming part of the business community and using as many local suppliers in the day to day business is a desire of Sonic Headers Inc. "We plan to use the local vendors and suppliers as much as possible in our day to day business" said Todd. "The move alone allowed us to take advantage of many of the local business for the needed supplies to set up the new space."

The formation of a second corporation will bring a skilled and experienced welding and fabrication company to the area. "We are world-wide Corporation. Most of our customers are out of state and out of the country. We have started writing a business plan for the creation of a company that will focus on those services needed within the community and the area around us."

The plans continue to progress for Sonic Headers Inc. during this second year of business, with room for the new opportunities to grow from the revisions to the first years plan. This experimental aircraft exhaust manufacturer intends to continue refining within to best serve their current and future customers. Driven to hold true to the company's mission statement, "The mission for Sonic Headers Inc. is to provide superior custom exhaust systems and services for private builders and manufacturers with high quality products becoming a leader in customer service."

The addition of a second company allows Sonic Headers Inc. to maintain the pursuit of achieving their mission without distracting from the companies already existing performance. "We see this as a way to bring some our services into the community and hope the area finds it as a convenience."
