Online, September 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - One of the reasons people love to flock to Vegas is the food. The city is bustling with some of the world's best restaurants and celebrity chefs. But Vegas is a competitive culinary battle ground and for every amazing restaurant there are several that have failed in their attempts for sin city success. The latest to fall prey to the allure of Vegas money was Eva Longoria's Beso in City Center. After an attempt at creating a haute culinary house with sex appeal what does the former desperate housewife have up her sleeve?

After filing for bankruptcy Beso at Crystals is dead in the water. The restaurant had been offering a myriad of promos and happy hour specials that last from 9pm to close, but to no avail. The celebrity owned eatery is now officially closed down and plans on reopening in November along with it the adjoining nightclub. The restaurant has been reworked and is now SHe by Morton's, a steakhouse aimed at women patrons. SHe's co-owner Eva Longoria helped create the 1920's inspired eatery with update gilded age, art deco designs for female guests to feel empowered and luxurious. The prohibition era inspired restaurant boasts the tagline "Not your daddy's steakhouse" with high hopes of attracting women to the prohibition era inspired steakhouse. SHe hopes to create a sexy high rolling vibe with petite portions, a dance floor and a modeling runway. Critics are already hurling accusations of gawky gimmicky ploys at SHE, but we shall see what happens in November.
