ESPRO® Unveils the World's Lightest 16oz Coffee Press and Hydration Bottle

Kickstarter campaign starts today to bring the Ultralight to market

ESPRO®creators of superior French presses and brewing accessories that simply “Make it Better,” today announces the launch of its newest model, the ESPRO Ultralight. Starting today, coffee fanatics and general supporters can be among the first to receive a press of their own by pledging just $25 (MSRP $39.95) to the Kickstarter campaign.

The ESPRO Ultralight is the lightest 16 ounce combination press and hydration bottle of its kind. Made with vacuum insulated stainless steel, it keeps contents hot or cold for hours and allows outdoor enthusiasts and avid travelers alike to caffeinate and hydrate anywhere, at any time. Inside, the press houses ESPRO’s patented double micro-filters (12 times finer than a traditional French press) to eliminate sludge and grit and create a cleaner, better cup of coffee or tea every time. Plus, the buffer between the filters isolates coffee grounds and tea leaves to block further extraction and ensure consistent taste from the first sip to the last. Designed as an all-in-one model, users can brew their favorite cup of coffee or tea right inside, seal it with the leak-proof lid, and carry it with them. Light enough not to weigh you down, strong enough to withstand whatever you put it through, portable and stylish, it’s the Swiss Army Knife of bottles.

"We have been working tirelessly for several years to take everything that makes our Travel Press so impressive - its portability, its durability, and the high-quality brews it produces - and create an ultralight version. We focused on weight, but we refused to compromise on the beverage, and as a result, we created something truly special."

Bruce Constantine, ESPRO President and Co-Founder

“We have been listening to our tribe of devout coffee and tea lovers for years, and weight is something that has often been mentioned, especially among our outdoor-loving Travel Press users,” said Bruce Constantine, ESPRO President and Co-Founder. “We have been working tirelessly for several years to take everything that makes our Travel Press so impressive - its portability, its durability, and the high-quality brews it produces - and create an ultralight version. We focused on weight, but we refused to compromise on the beverage, and as a result, we created something truly special. The ESPRO Ultralight is now the world’s lightest combined French press and hydration bottle, and we know it’s going to stop people in their tracks.”

About ESPRO®

ESPRO® exists to bring the best cup of coffee and tea to every table. In 2002 Bruce Constantine and Chris McLean met for coffee, and sketched their first product concept on the back of a napkin- a calibrated tamper to make more consistent espresso. By April 2004, ESPRO had emerged. The first years were characterized by a string of products aimed at improving the consistency of espresso and milk foam. In 2012, ESPRO introduced the groundbreaking ESPRO Press, the first grit-free French press coffee and tea maker. It has garnered global accolades, including two consecutive Best New Product awards by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (2015 and 2016).

Today ESPRO is the epicenter of a grassroots movement that is shaking and reshaping the coffee and tea equipment industry and re-defining the way we perceive the perfect cup. With its range of innovative products designed to achieve consistently great results, ESPRO is destined to carve an important niche among coffee and tea aficionados.
