Entrepreneur to Amass 6 Billion Photos for a Global Portrait

After bankruptcy, marketing genius regains financial status and is headed to land on Forbes "Richest People in America" list along with Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

Internet marketing executive launches global social networking platform despite recent diplomatic controversy on the lack of internet sovereignty in China. The online photo album of the human race called The Global Portrait™ is aimed at amassing 6 billion photos in an effort to unite and connect people across the globe.

Lynita Kimble, managing partner of The Kimble Group, LLC and spearhead behind The Global Portrait™, says TheGlobalPortrait.com is a no-frills, uncluttered, ad-free site that eliminates geographical, language, religious and class barriers. The company is full blaze ahead selling album space at $7 each for inclusion in the robust photo album.

Foreign government policy may prove disadvantageous thus hindering how many photos will be in The Global Portrait™. According to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, "Countries that restrict free access to information or violate the basic rights of Internet users risk walling themselves off from the progress of the next century."

When asked about how The Global Portrait's mission fared with Beijing's stance on censorship, Kimble says, "I agree to an extent. The Global Portrait™ does not allow any explicit photos on the site. It's not accepted, nor tolerated."

Whether or not China, and other countries that restrict internet access, will consider The Global Portrait™ amenable or a social threat such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube remains to be seen.

China is a big chunk of the human race with a population of 1.4 billion. Other countries cited by Secretary of State Clinton (Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Egypt and Vietnam) have a combined population of 217 million. A global portrait absent of that many people could unlikely be a true global portrait.

According to Kimble, The Global Portrait™ is "more than just your circle of friends, it's the whole world. Each photo in The Global Portrait™ represents life - be it past, present or future - and the unity of the human race."

Although Kimble doesn't classify her site as part of the social networking scene, some do. Model and aspiring actress Natalia B. said, "It's the easiest way to connect with everybody. I'm waiting for my big break and for me personally, The Global Portrait™ is the outlet that can get my name and face out there."

When asked how her site differs from the internet's plethora of social networking sites, Kimble responded, "We charge for photo album space so we don't solicit or accept advertising dollars. Also, our affiliate program which pays a flat commission per space sold." With the human population count in the billions, promoting The Global Portrait™ could spawn massive payouts to affiliates.

If a mere picture speaks a thousand words, what would The Global Portrait™ speak? According to Kimble, it would say, "Though we may be spread across the globe, we are here as one. This is who we are, this is our legacy."
