Entranced Publishing Executive Editor Ashley Christman Announces That the EBook Publisher Opens to Submissions.
Entranced Publishing, LLC, a publisher of eBooks focusing on romance, erotica, and upper YA has opened its doors for author submissions
Online, April 15, 2012 (Newswire.com) - "We believe that eBooks are not just the wave of the future, but are very much the present of publishing." - Ashley Christman, Executive Editor, Entranced Publishing.
Start-up eBook publisher, Entranced Publishing, is open to submissions in the Young Adult, Romance, and Erotica genres. All sub-genres will be accepted, including Science Fiction and Fantasy. Entranced is not accepting Christian fiction at this time.
Currently, Entranced Publishing intends to release 4 - 5 titles per month and will follow a release schedule similar to that of large publishing houses, with 12 - 18 months between contract signing and release. This is to allow time for both polishing and marketing the title. Authors will be paid 40% on the list price of their eBook and royalties will be paid out quarterly.
Among other marketing strategies in play during the months leading up to the release of each eBook, Entranced Publishing marketing staff will arrange to have ARCs reviewed, will assist the author in utilizing social media, and will arrange a two week blog tour surrounding the release date.
Entranced Publishing opens its doors with five imprints:
o Entranced is their main line, for all category romance novels upward of 50,000 words.
o Mesmerized is a line of erotica and erotic romance novels over 50,000 words.
o Thrills is the erotica and erotic romance novella imprint, for word counts ranging from 10,000 to 49,000.
o Kissed is the line of novellas with content fitting under the Entranced imprint. Word requirements are from 10,000 to 49,000.
o Blush is the imprint covering all sub-genres of upper YA, with a minimum word count of 50,000 words. While all Young Adult novels will be considered, strong romantic elements are preferred. Lower YA will not be accepted.
Both established and unpublished authors are welcome to submit manuscripts for consideration and unagented submissions will be accepted. Previously published manuscripts will be considered on a case by case basis with proof of rights reversion. Entranced will accept simultaneous submissions, but requests to be kept apprised of submission status with other publishers.
