Entrance for Annual Acoustics Awards Scheme Now Open
UK, April 19, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The awards, due to be presented on 29th June in Birmingham’s Crowne Plaza hotel, divide into six categories: Vibration sponsored by Bruel & Kjaer, Architectural Commercial Buildings sponsored by Armstrong, Architectural Education Buildings sponsored by Ecophon, Environmental Noise sponsored by ANV Measurement Systems, Sound Insulation sponsored by Icopal and Best Presentation sponsored by Robust Details.
The Awards are looking for examples of work that display innovation - and originality - in acoustic design or approach to a particular project. There are no restrictions on size or type of project, but work must have been undertaken in the last two years (but need not be complete) and the consultancy must be in operating in the UK, although the project may be elsewhere.
The Acoustic trade association has been running its award scheme since 2013 to promote and recognise excellence among acousticians and raise the profile of the acoustics industry.
Full details and the entry form are available on the ANC website.
The closing date for entries is Friday 13th May 2016.
The winners will be announced during an Awards Dinner, following the ANC’s annual conference on Wednesday 29th June 2016.
