She loved to look down from the secnd story windows of their upstairs office, and observe how her family’s medium size grocery store functioned - from stocking the shelves, to shopping carts being filled with goods, to checking out at the register.  Everything was neatly in its place and every location had a function.  The freezers kept the frozen food frozen while the fresh produce was up front near the windows for all to see, inviting them to come in.  There was order and creativity to the placement of everything.   Gayle dreamed of having her own business one day, a very specific type of business - specializing in bookkeeping, accounting and operations management.
