Elizabeth Warren's Fund Raiser

Elizabeth Warren has made a successful fund raiser in Massachusetts.

Democrat Elizabeth Warren has raised an astonishing $ 3.15 million for a recently launched Senate campaign in Massachusetts. This is the double of what Republican Senator Scott Brown raised for the quarter that ended on September 30, 2011. This is certainly an impressive figure.

Warren is all set to introduce the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and received tremendous applauds from the progressive candidates. The majority of this amount reports Warren, came from donations of $100 denominations.

Warren was the pioneer of the idea behind Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This has however been annoying powerful men in Washington. The Wall Street supporting Republicans called Warren a a liar while the Congress conducted its spring session. They also opposed her nomination as a Republican Senator, thus limiting her chances for the same.

Warren has thus joined the club of women who always seem to annoy men. The list includes Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and of course Elizabeth Warren. The war for money in the Senate, Massachusetts is now official and the clear victor is Warren presently. With just some weeks' of campaigning, the Harvard Law School professor, has raised a remarkable amount. However this big haul is certainly outweighed by the money Scott has in his hand. He has $10.5 million cash.

Warren's rise is a simultaneous event to the Occupy Wall Street protests, and going back to the tea party movement in 2010 led to an election of Conservatives, has led speculators guess whether Warren will become the first Occupy Wall Street Senator.

Talking of the widespread campaign Warren in her email wrote, "That's why your support is more important than ever. I need you to help us build the strongest grassroots campaign we can by encouraging your friends and family to join us, too, we are in this together. We are fighting back for the middle class families who are getting hammered here in Massachusetts and across the country. We are fighting for the future of America."
