Elephone Launches Full-Screen Smartphone U2 and Giveaway Campaign

SHENZHEN, China, June 6, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Elephone has decided to release its newest smartphone under the name Elephone U2 on June 9 on AliExpress. Elephone U2 is geared with a 3250mAh battery, featuring a pop-up module with a dual front camera and a rear triple camera. Besides sporting five cameras, there are also other features of Elephone U2 that are worth examining.

Design and Screen

Elephone U2 has a glossy design made out of CNC aluminum alloy frame with front glass and comes in green and red colors. With the fingerprint sensor placed right below the power button, the rear side also has a clean design that is pleasing to the eye.

Elephone U2 has a 6.26-inch FHD+ Ultra-wide screen with 103 percent wide-gamut and the brightness of 500 nits. There is no notation at the top of the screen due to the ejection module. The borders on the front side are narrow, with an only 3.48mm bottom chin, thanks to the sixth generation of the full-view screen. Such thin borders manage to enhance the screen ratio to as high as 93.1 percent. Considering the high brightness and huge screen portion, Elephone U2 adopts a unique power-saving technology that has a combination of hardware and software in order to save battery.

Camera

Elephone U2 has a pop-up camera design that can endure 300,000 times of use, lasting up to five years when being used 150 times per day. The pop-up camera features two 16 MP AI front cameras and a portrait mode that is capable of emphasizing the main subject being shot by softening the background. Additionally, the AI front cameras are able to take beauty selfies that smooth out the skin. The flash beside the front AI cameras is perfect for taking selfies in the dark. Besides taking pictures, the front cameras serve the purpose of face unlock.

A dual LED flash comes along with three rear cameras at the top right corner vertically. The main camera is 16MP with a 5MP depth sensor, an F/1.6 large aperture and a 2MP snapper which can greatly enhance the lighting. The 16 megapixels provided by the main camera enables one to capture vivid details, even for videos, by displaying ultra-high resolution and stunning colors.

Battery

Elephone U2 has a 3250mAh non-removable Li-Po battery that can be fully charged in no time. It is promised by the company that Elephone U2 can last a whole day with one single charge. In strenuous cases, it is also able to last seven to eight hours.

Network and Connectivity

As far as connectivity is concerned, Elephone U2 supports both 4G and 3G. It provides two Nano SIM slots, so dual Nano SIMs can be inserted into the device.
