Edge Advertising Extends Internship Offers

SEATTLE, WA - Edge Advertising's director of operations spoke on the company's internship openings, and their plans to expand and move forward with new, innovative talent and perspectives for the summer ahead.

May is fast approaching; university and college students will be visiting online job boards, job fairs, and employment offices searching for work. Tyler, the director of operations at Edge Advertising, wished to explain why this influx is of note: “Fresh, focused, and driven minds are always welcome with us, and we’re ready to accept talented students into our internship program.”

“These positions,” Tyler said, “are opportunities to do far more than basic labor. Their purpose is to give these students the most relevant experiences so that they may become essential parts of the workforce, particularly in advertising.” The students will both observe and take part in campaign initiatives. “They’ll become full-fledged members of our group,” he said. “We will help them, and they will help us in turn. Eventually they’ll be ready to take on full-time, permanent positions in an advertising firm – ours if the fit is right.”

Edge Advertising’s Leader Discussed Benefits for Interns and Growing Businesses

“We are invested in team development, and take a fast training approach with our interns,” Tyler continued. “We provide direct teaching that involves working side-by-side with senior team members, and supply support while new associates absorb experiences. This allows them to gain the confidence necessary to take part in major campaigns. As long as they maintain the work ethic and focus, they will be given chances to advance in the company.”

Tyler said that contemporary society’s reliance on technology has had a big impact on the campaign process. As a result, the team at Edge Advertising is continually adapting to meet the needs of the new market. “It takes talent to meet the demands of changing demographics.”

“This is what it means to be on a permanent career path, not in a temporary position,” Tyler asserted. “Each spot at Edge Advertising holds the possibility of advancement. All training and experience allows a student to progress from bottom to top, and accept more responsibility in a relatively short period of time.”

“It is essential for a business to progress,” he concluded. “When a business continues the way it has for a long period of time, it risks becoming obsolete. We have goals for the future of our business, and adding team members is one of them. These students will be part of our aims for growth and innovation.”
