Students Showcase Talent at 'Sankalp 2016' at the Echelon Institute of Technology
New Delhi, April 26, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Echelon Institute of Technology organized ‘Sankalp, 2016’ which provided a platform to let the students showcase their talents and skills. The event commenced with heartfelt greetings by the principle (Prof) Dr. Bheem Singh to all the students, faculty members, Dean, Tarun Sharma, Dean Academic, D.K. Chugh – Dean Administrative, Anuj Kalra, Judge Sanjay Kumar and Renu Sharma graced the event. Around 120-150 students attended it.
Impressed by the efforts of the students, Dr. Bheem Singh said, “Students have very well communicated a message via an image which can bring an appreciable change in the society”. He further said, “The Institute will always welcome the students in accomplishing and depicting their thoughts”.
The students depicted the plight of the Indian farmers and also tried to show the present economic state of the country through their paintings. Monochromatic theme- use of only one colour, was seen in their art works. 3rd year students astounded the mass by their talents of racing the car by the impact of air and balloons. On the top of this, they secured 2nd position. Events like mono acting, duet singing and instrumentals attracted the mass.
Ankur, Shailash secured 1st and 2nd positions in mono-acting respectively. The duet singing competition was won by the pair of Abhishek and Deboshree. Varun, Nikhil and Gaurav won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively in Instrumentals. Word racer award was felicitated to Akashdeep and consecutive runner ups were Yashwani and Saurav.
