DutchCrafters Announces 2016-17 Scholarship

DutchCrafters seeks applications for its DutchCrafters Heritage Scholarship for the 2016-17 academic year.

DutchCrafters Amish Furniture, one of the largest Web retailers of Amish furniture at www.DutchCrafters.com, is accepting applications starting March 1, 2016 for the DutchCrafters Heritage Scholarship. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2016. Information about the scholarship is available at https://www.dutchcrafters.com/heritage-scholarship.

Established in 2012, the DutchCrafters Heritage Scholarship awards $500 each year to three deserving, accomplished students attending colleges across the country who draw upon their cultural heritage to shape their vocational aspirations and add creative value to their future employers. The scholarship continues to underline DutchCrafters’ belief that cultural heritage can positively shape vocational experiences and service to the community.

“We’re honored to invest in young people as they draw from their histories and cultures to build their futures,” said Jim Miller, founder and CEO of DutchCrafters and its parent company JMX Brands, who was able to differentiate his business through looking within his Amish and Mennonite heritage, offering high level customer service that matches the quality of the authentic and long-lasting Amish furniture that DutchCrafters sells.

Winners of the scholarship for the 2015-16 academic year were Lauren Chapman, Sofia Cranley and Megan Hosford. More information about these winners is available at http://www.jmxbrands.com/dutchcrafters-announces-scholarship-winners/.
