DuploCloud Launches Innovative On-Premises Solution to Streamline Kubernetes Implementations
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 22, 2023 (Newswire.com) - DuploCloud, the industry pioneer for DevOps automation and built-in compliance, has announced the general availability of its on-prem solution built on top of Kubernetes, focusing on containerized workloads with near term plans to integrate with on-prem compute, storage and networking vendors. The solution will enhance and streamline a Kubernetes implementation for mid-market and enterprise organizations in five key areas: developer self-service with no-code/low-code automation, integrated diagnostics that include logging, metrics and alerts, Hybrid cloud integration and built-in security controls, adhering to the latest compliance standards, including SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, NIST and others.
DuploCloud has experience managing hundreds of Kubernetes clusters in the public cloud at scale with a focus on developer self-service. Currently, the platform integrates with more than 500 cloud services and supports AWS, Azure, and GCP. Core features include developer self-service, low-code/no-code automation, and CI/CD are implemented in its on-prem offering and possess a level of maturity expected from a company operating in the public cloud.
"Our on-prem solution extends all the great capabilities of our cloud-native offering and will help DevOps teams operate Kubernetes infrastructure with much greater ease, security and compliance," said Venkat Thiruvengadam, CEO and Founder of DuploCloud. "What makes the solution unique is the integration of the managed services with the on-prem capabilities in a single platform. This is an important step for DuploCloud, enhancing our reach to hybrid-cloud use cases for organizations of all sizes."
DuploCloud's on-prem solution simplifies operations for developers, providing a low-code implementation that can reduce Infrastructure-as-Code by a factor of 10. Additionally, it provides multi-tenancy with two fundamental constructs (Infrastructure and Tenant) in the policy model. An infrastructure in the on-prem context is a Kubernetes cluster. The platform expects that the cluster has been set up with worker nodes. Each infrastructure contains a cluster name, K8S API endpoint, and a token. A tenant is a child of infrastructure and is like an isolated environment and sandbox.
DuploCloud's offering is deeply integrated into the native PaaS and security services of the public cloud providers. The platform is heavily focused on security best practices and meeting compliance standards and implements out-of-the-box controls for several standards, including PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, and others.
