Dr. Patrice Frederick Joins New Roseland as Medical Director of Surgery
Chicago, January 11, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The New Roseland Community Hospital welcomes Patrice R. Frederick, MD as the Southside Safety Net Hospital’s new Medical Director of Surgery.
Dr. Frederick, born and raised in Chicago in the Morgan Park neighborhood, is a Board Certified and fellowship trained General and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon.

Dr. Frederick has experience implementing new techniques throughout multiple community hospitals including robotic surgery and is a specialist in complex hernia repair, anti-reflux procedures and colon surgery.

In 1998, Dr. Frederick earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology “Cum Laude” from Oral Roberts University. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2004 and performed her residency at the University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals.
Dr. Frederick will create and head the New Roseland Breast Health Clinic which will be dedicated to providing high-technology mammography screenings, consultations, biopsies and appropriate surgical procedures. The launch is scheduled for April 1, 2016.
