“Holidays are a time of family, food, and generosity. I strongly believe that every family deserves to share a holiday meal together and we are gearing up for our Christmas Food Distribution and will provide holiday boxes and meals to those in need,” said Dr. Norman Quintero who is organizing the event.
2,500 Christmas Boxes will be given away to the homeless and low-income families. Each box donated will contain weekly groceries for a family of 4.
“We already distributed 600 grocery boxes to families in need and now we are stepping up with more boxes in time for Christmas,” added Dr. Quintero.
According to The Orange County Food Bank, 400,000 people in Orange County are food insecure and 1 out of 5 children in Orange County are hungry every day.
