DoozyCards.com Releases New Father's Day Ecards
Three brand new Father's Day eCards debuting on the DoozyCards.com website, including a new Dionne Warwick eCard.
Online, June 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - DoozyCards.com is unveiling a brand new series of Father's Day eCards (to be found at http://www.doozycards.com/ecards/fathers-day) featuring original song compositions, seasoned singers, and studio animations. To be ready for Father's Day on Sunday, June 19th, 2011, DoozyCards will release the first new eCard on Friday, June 10 and the next two new cards on Tuesday, June 14th.
The first eCard, titled, "Singing Beer," features a foaming, singing mug of beer with a chorus of cheeseburger sliders. The beer mug, played by talented voice artist Peter Durwood, who also composes songs for Sesame Street, sings a fun "Beer Samba" celebrating Father's Day.
The second new eCard is an addition to The Dionne Warwick Collection of eCards, a line co-developed by DoozyCards and singing legend Dionne Warwick. The card features Warwick's own voice for in a heartfelt narration. The narration, written by Warwick herself, celebrates fathers and is backed by an upbeat musical track. This will be the 17th eCard Warwick has created with DoozyCards.com and is a contribution of her own sincere sentiment.
The third new eCard being released for Father's Day from Doozycards humorously celebrates Father's Day with the letter "B," demonstrating the many things fathers enjoy that begin with the letter "B" such as baseball, BBQ, and beer.
Father's Day always falls on the third Sunday in June. Though the first Father's Day celebration was in 1910, even with this generation of television and internet, 71% of children still eat dinner with their father everyday, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. This means the holiday is both still relevant across generational lines and can now be celebrated with new media such as the debuting eCards.
