DJ Steve Porter's PorterHouse Media Selected To Produce New
Online, May 26, 2011 (Newswire.com) - PorterHouse Media, a production company founded by master video remixer DJ Steve Porter, has been commissioned by General Mills to produce a series of commercials for the new "Wheaties Fuel" cereal.
PHM will create three, 60-second spots for television and Internet use, and featuring such superstar athletes as Kevin Garnett of the NBA's Boston Celtics and Peyton Manning of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, among others.
"We're really excited to create these spots for Wheaties Fuel," said Porter. "Wheaties is an all-American product and a household name, and being part of taking it a step further is an honor. We can't wait to get started."
PHM will work in conjunction with renowned advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, but will retain the majority of the creative control over the process. Original music also will be utilized in the spots, which are scheduled to air from January to May of 2012.
This latest work by PHM is yet another example of Porter's unique ability to bridge sports with music in creating unique, engaging, and eye-catching music-video compositions.
