We also spoke with Phil Williams, vice president of sustainability and technical systems for Webcor, the builder responsible for the new San Francisco General Hospital. Though the city requires all of its new buildings to meet the requirements for LEED Silver, the project team intends to seek LEED gold when the facility is completed.
