Expertises like PHP, HTML, and MySQL still guarantee the most projects for IT freelancers and service providers. According to the 3rd quarter analysis by the intermediation platform twago.de, clients demand these skills the most. Generally, the order situation for IT service providers is very good. CSS, Java, and JavaScript are also amongst the top 10 most demanded skills.

"Overall, we are seeing a very positive business development," Berning states.

"There was virtually no summer slump this year. The situation in Germany is such that the majority of app developers are book until spring 2011," Berning says.
