Collaboration Fest’s inaugural event took place last year, and it was a huge success. Dozens of breweries from around the country participated in more than 50 collaborations. Two or more breweries will work together on the projects to create amazing new craft beers.
Examples of the projects for this year’s Collaboration Fest are Midnight Mischief described as a “non-traditional American hopped black lager Schwarzbier,” and West of Ardennes, a “Rye barrel fermented Belgian Imperial Brown.” The projects include fruity selections, such as a yet unnamed “Belgian style Cherry Dubbel,” and quirky picks like Skiing in Jeans, a “traditional German bock using all German malt and hops with the addition of Colorado wildflower honey and Texas pecans.” It’s safe to say that this Denver Event is the place to be for those who want to have the opportunity to try a large selection of craft beers that are unavailable anywhere else.
