Aava released photos of the set this week. As the description detailed, the mug sits on a plate that give the appearances of sloping down from the mug and toward its rounded terminus. The space between the mug and the end of the plate is just enough to allow for a few cubes of sugar, a small pastry or a tea infuser.
The mug included in the set is a departure from the traditional straight lines in other Aava pieces. The mug’s handle is circular and the mug itself is a straightforward cylinder.
