Dazzling Event Of Sherbet Contest, Reiki & Housie Games For Ladies Club Members

Online, May 7, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Hotel United-21, Thane experienced yet another dazzling event of Sherbet contest, Reiki & Housie games for the members of ladies club on 25th April 2012. The celebrations received an applauding response from the club members who participated in the contest with lots of enthusiasm.
This event was one of the latest in the trend of hosting encouraging events by the family club of United-21, Thane. The club members (ladies) were seen totally engrossed in the preparation of Sherbet during this contest. They arrived at the contest well prepared bringing all the ingredients required to prepare a luscious Sherbet. From all the number of Sherbets prepared by the contestant's only one lucky emerged winner as her preparation was selected by the expert chef of Hotel United-21 as the best sherbet. The contestant was congratulated by all and especially by the Manager of the Club who encouraged the participant by giving her a surprise prize. During her short speech the winner told a few words describing how the sherbet originated. She explained that Sherbet originated in south Asian and Middle East countries to counter the effect of scorching summers in these countries. The sherbet prepared by her had medicinal value in it.
The Reiki expert at the event showed demonstrations of the technique which is a natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self improvement that has no side effects. He said Reiki has been effective in treating many known illnesses. He demonstrated the treatment which treats the body, emotions, mind and spirit offering relaxation and feeling of serenity. Reiki master further explained that this Japanese art is not related to any religion and teaches the way of living a peaceful and harmonious life. The art is passed on by the Reiki master to one who is interested in adapting the art of healing. Many of the members showed interest in learning the art of Reiki and registered their names.
After the knowledgeable Reiki event the atmosphere was filled with entertainment activities. Everyone at the event irrespective of age or status was seen enjoying the fun of Housie which bought the members on the common platform of fun and entertainment. After Housie the event concluded with a word of gratitude to the participants.
