Cura Cannabis Solutions Accelerates Growth in Oregon and Nevada

Select CBD

Cura Cannabis Solutions, the leading provider of cannabis vape cartridges and oil in the Northwest, announced today a major expansion that will magnify its brand in Oregon, California and Nevada.

Cura’s Select branded CBD (cannabidiol hemp oil) cartridges will be available in marijuana retailers in Oregon, California and Nevada. In addition, a new Portland facility has opened in the city’s Central Eastside. The current footprint is 4,200 square feet, with an expectation to expand to approximately 50,000 square feet with over 100 employees within a year.

"In the last year, we have gained enormous momentum by expanding rapidly in the Oregon market, and we are excited to make therapeutic benefits from CBD available first on the west coast and then worldwide."

Nitin Khanna, CEO Cura Cannabis Solutions

“We believe now is the perfect time to bring the medical and lifestyle benefits of CBD to consumers who already love the Select vaping experience and to extend these offerings to consumers who want the benefits of the cannabis plant without the psychoactive high,” Cura CEO Nitin Khanna said. “In the last year, we have gained enormous momentum by expanding rapidly in the Oregon market, and we are excited to make therapeutic benefits from CBD available first on the west coast and then worldwide.”

Select CBD vape cartridges are pre-filled with hemp-derived CBD oil and mixed with essential oils that can help consumers with anxiety, chronic pain and inflammation, and sleeping issues. CBD can be used as an alternative to opiate-based painkillers like Vicodin and hydrocodone which are highly addictive without causing analgesic (or, painkiller) tolerance. Most users also benefit from the immediate relaxing benefit provided after only a few puffs. Cura has designed a CBD pen for all times of the day: peppermint for morning energy, grapefruit for afternoon revival, and lavender for evening relaxation. Cura’s oils have no cutting agents like propylene glycol, which are commonly found in other CBD vape cartridges.

Consumers are guaranteed only the highest quality products since Cura’s THC oil is tested using the most stringent testing regulatory standards available in each state their product is sold. All products are tested and verified pesticide under Oregon’s ORELAP (Oregon Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program) testing processes. These stringent tests include third party sampling and testing of pesticide content, residual solvents and potency. Consumers will be able to view test results from the Cura website to see exactly what they are purchasing; this is unprecedented in the industry.

Founded in 2015, the company has grown from a modest 15-person operation to an over 125-employee workforce in just over a year. Cura currently has four processing facilities in Oregon, two in California and one in Nevada.

“Our mission is to be the leading provider of cannabis oil to both consumers and premium edible brands in legal US and international markets,” said Cameron Forni, President of Cura. “But the key to our success comes from being able to accomplish this while aiding our customers who want to feel their very best, helping our growers and suppliers’ businesses thrive and simultaneously increasing the state’s tax revenue.”
