Dallas, TX, United States - December 11, 2009 - For many of us in Creative Industries, our days are filled with solving the next design dilemma, developing that winning marketing proposal or creating stellar ad campaigns.

On a good day ideas are developed, problems are solved and our clients (bosses) are made happy. But on the BEST days, we are able to inspire others to reach further, to go beyond the status quo, to step outside their comfort zone and take that creative risk at will propel them to the next level. These are the days, rather few and in between, that remind us that we'd work for free - if it weren't for that stinking mortgage!

ICTD was founded on December 11, 2008 by Dawn Mann, President and CCO of Break of Day Design Ad & PR. It's purpose is to honor those in the creative industry who's daily efforts help shape what everyone sees. "From your favorite magazine and fast food chain logo to maps and websites, we shape the way people interact with the world around us. It's often taken for granted," states Mann. ICTD is just a friendly reminder of how much we need creative thinkers.

Participants this year include Cedar Valley College, Break of Day Design Ad & PR, The Love Group, and Macork Solutions of Florida.
