Couple Finds Unique Way to Raise Funds for Wedding

Online, March 16, 2012 (Newswire.com) - An enterprising young couple found a unique way to raise funds for their wedding: launch a site where they will sell 2,511 T-shirts online. The website, www.weddingtee.com, sells T-shirts personally designed by the couple and will continue until June 30, 2012. The shirts cost only $20 a piece.

Why 2,511 shirts? "Because our wedding day is on 25 November, 2012," said the groom, Dennis. "We are selling unique, meaningful t-shirt to fund our wedding. All the artworks were designed by us personally. We have put a lot of effort in making this event the greatest one and hope that could help us in making our wedding dreams come true."

The couple believes this is a very meaningful project not only for them but for the buyers as well. Not only do they get to own a t-shirt with a unique and very meaningful design but also with a great story behind it. The couple hopes the income generated from the sale is enough to cover for the wedding and they are not looking into putting in more products or extend the sale time period.

"We're not selling the T-shirts for profit, that's why they are so inexpensive. This fundraising campaign will also end on 30 June. You see, we're not doing this to make additional profits," Dennis added.

Dennis and his fiancee, Jessny, have been together for 5 1/2 years. He proposed to her on their 5th 'dating' anniversary on August 2011 and since began planning for their wedding. This is their first major project together as a couple to pursue their dream wedding.
