Contractor Retires After Forty Successful Years In Business

This is the life of a successful builder who always kept himself in work with a large customer base through good and bad times.

John Brewer was a successful builder in NZ for 37 years and another 2 years in Australia. He has written a book titled "Contractors-How To Get More Jobs In A Tough Economy"

Even in times of economic hardship when other Builders ran out of work he had a continuous flow of work. He achieved this by employing many overlooked but simple methods to maintain a very strong customer base.

He has helped many people to start and maintain a steady customer base thus creating successful businesses. He also specializes in keeping his customers happy thus always getting paid on time.

When other trades people had to travel out of town to find work he never had to. He retired at the age of 57 a wealthy man with financial and time freedom.

Unfortunately the huge share market crash and property market crash did a lot of damage to his portfolio and he again entered the building trade in 2010.

In 2010 he traveled to Australia's Gold Coast to start a home maintenance business. At that time the Gold Coast was in a recession caused by the decline in tourism and a lot of Tradesmen were traveling out of town looking for work.

By employing the methods mentioned in his book, he started a new customer base the very first day of business with 1 job the first day and 3 on the second. He now once again has a solid customer base on the Gold Coast where he now lives with his wife Jean.
