Connect Participates in Make a Wish Walk
The team at Connect participated in the Make A Wish Walk on March 28th. The associates were excited to be part of an event that raises money to help children with terminal or serious illnesses and their families create lasting memories.
Irving, TX, April 7, 2015 (Newswire.com) - “Connect participated in the Make A Wish Foundation Walk for the first time last year,” said Rachel O’Hara, the company’s Chief Executive Officer. “This year we hoped to have 30 people participate. I come from a childcare background, so giving back to the community for kids really hits home.”

Shawna T. is another Connect team member who participated for the second of what she hopes will be many walks. “I think that the Make A Wish Foundation is one of the best non-profit organizations to support. I have two wonderful children who are fortunate enough to be in good health, so to give back to other children and help make their wishes come true fills me with joy,” she said. “I will never stop supporting this organization. This year my kids will be walking by my side to help support the cause.”
