This prestigious certification is an important addition to the existing certifications in Quality (ISO 9001:2008) and Health & Safety (OHSAS 18001:2007, AS/NZS 4801:2001).
The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification confirms that CommTel operates an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that complies with the requirements of the standard, through the secure management of the infrastructure, facilities and IT environments that support the delivery of dedicated communication networks to customers. CommTel’s ISMS was developed and implemented under guidance from Enex Carbon for a period of 18 months from March 2016 to September 2016. A series of internal and external assessments verified CommTel’s adherence to the ISMS controls, and its institutionalization of ISO standard practices across the organization.
