"Color Changing Alarm Clock": A Specially Designed Alarm Clock With the Digital Display Background Changing Colors Every Hour to Indicate, by Color, the Change in Time

Invents introduces "Color Changing Alarm Clock" which visually provides approximate time without the need for eyeglasses or contacts by the user.

Telling the time is like learning how to tie shoelaces…everyone had to accomplish this at a certain stage of their lives. However, sometime it can be made simpler regardless of whether one is 5 years old or 50 years old. That is precisely what has been accomplished when it comes to telling time with the new Color Changing Alarm Clock. It is a specially designed alarm clock with the digital display background changing colors every hour to indicate, by color, the change in time. The colors will also fade into the next hour giving a close indication of the time passing. For example, a display with the left half red (6:00 indicator), and the right half blue (7:00 indicator) implies the time is about 6:30. The design intent is to allow consumers, particularly those with poor eyesight who may have a difficult time reading a clock without glasses or contacts to easily discern the approximate time simply by viewing the color of the clock.

This unusual new alarm clock is specially designed and configured expressly so that the display surface of the alarm clock changes colors on the hours (fading into the next hour), providing a highly visible clue as to the time of night or day without actually reading the numbers on the clock.  The appliance itself comes in a variety of colors  Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Color Changing Alarm Clock.

The Patent Pending Color Changing Alarm Clock was invented by William Paolo of Bayshore, NY who said, “I figured there had to be a way to visually alert one to the actual time being more easily understood from a visual standpoint. I modified the alarm clock using colors and this works perfectly. It means users instantly recognize the approximate time without fumbling for glasses.  In the event of a power outage, batteries take over so the time is always available to the user. Yes, it works.”
