College Admissions Assistance Coaches Visit 140 Colleges and Universities in 2016

In 2016 the College Admissions Assistance (CAA) Coaches visited 140 of the most sought after colleges and universities to gain admissions-related information and hands-on experience to pass along to high school students and their families in our program.  College visits are a priority for our Coaches and also for families in the CAA program.

The importance of doing college visits while in high school is a necessary step in the college admissions process.  CAA Coaches encourage the students and families in the program to participate in as many college visits as possible.  College visits are crucial because students learn more about the “campus culture.”  This can include learning your accessibility to professors, the size of classes, safety, parking, dining options, and much more.  Working with families to aid them in selecting the colleges with the ideal academic, emotional, social, and financial fit is the priority of our coaching staff.

College visits are also a great way to demonstrate a student’s interest in the school.  Students are able to get face time with current students or admissions officers through guided tours.  CAA Coaches recommend summertime visits to colleges, especially finding colleges in or around vacation spots that families already have planned.  Another good summertime option is to make day trips to local colleges in your area.

CAA is a private educational-service organization that provides expert college planning help to students and families nationwide. These services would be out of reach for many families, but we have successfully combined technology, a caring team of highly trained college coaches, and years of experience into a program that’s affordable to families in need of our assistance.  For more information, please visit www.caaconnect.com
