Cobra Group UK has won appreciation from all quarters by doing in the past few months certain things that are noteworthy and making notable achievements.

It was in December last that the company joined hands with footballer Rio Ferdinand, whose 'Live The Dream' Foundation strives to provide education, training and employment opportunities for young people to achieve and fulfil their ambitions in the field of sport, the arts and cultural activity. When Rio Ferdinand hosted an exquisite party on 16th December, 2009 to kick start the venture, Cobra UK decided to do what it could to support and patronise it. The company, known widely for its inspirational, motivational and successful business ethics and for teaming with those who share the same beliefs, purchased a table directly in front of the stage to witness the launch of Rio Ferdinand's initiative and to further help and show support to the venture. Regarding this the company's Managing Director Mike Blane says; "For over twenty years The Cobra Group has helped to change people's lives in various aspects, and Rio Ferdinand is doing the same with the launch of this momentous 'Live The Dream' foundation venture."

A few weeks before this event, the company had made its presence felt at the Sky Shine Awards, not just by taking part in the event, but also with one of its owners ending up a winner at the event. It was for the first time that Sky TV had opened up their Sales Awards to all their sales Partners. The Sky Shine Awards night was held at the impressive Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales. The Cobra Group and it's high rolling affiliated Marketing Companies were actively involved in the event and kept alive the tradition of doing things noteworthy and remarkable.
