Clearspring Names Peggy Fry Chief Revenue Officer

Largest Content Sharing Platform Strengthens Management Team Amidst Industry Growth

Clearspring Technologies, Inc., maker of the largest content sharing platform AddThis and industry leading Audience Platform, promotes Peggy Fry to Chief Revenue Officer. In August, Fry led the launch of the company's position into the real-time bidding audience marketplace. She continues to build the business toward the goal of providing the largest and most targeted audiences available to advertisers across the top DSPs and Ad Exchanges. Fry will be reporting to Gar Richlin, President and COO, and former COO of Ad.com.

"Peggy has played an integral role in driving our revenue strategy," says Hooman Radfar CEO of Clearspring. "We're incredibly proud of what she has accomplished to date and very excited about what she will do moving forward in her new role." Fry, who is extremely optimistic about this new landscape, adds, "The energy and momentum from advertisers and agencies around the real-time bidding audience marketplace reminds me of the excitement in 1997 and 1998 at AOL when the online display business truly began to skyrocket. We are at an early stage right now and the future is very bright."

Fry is credited with launching the advertising monetization strategy at Netflix across both their offline/envelope and online businesses. Before that, in 1996, Fry was hired to open and run the LA office for the AOL's Interactive Marketing Division. Her standout leadership at AOL over those four years included catapulting products/services like AOL's Moviefone.com and AOL Movies into the forefront of Hollywood.
