City of Reno Appoints Lobbyists For 2011 Legislature
Online, November 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Nevada political consultants Chris Ferrari and Susan Fisher have been selected to represent the City of Reno in the 2011 Nevada legislative session. Ferrari has offices in Reno and Las Vegas, and Fisher is based in Reno.
"2011 is a critical legislative session for local governments," said Ferrari. "Our goal is to work with legislators to find common-sense solutions that work for all Nevadans."
Ferrari, who has worked in lobbying and consulting since the mid 1990s, served in Gov. Kenny Guinn's administration and as a lobbyist and public relations consultant for Nevada's largest advertising and public relations firm, R&R Partners. He advises many of Nevada's top political and business leaders and has represented some of the country's largest companies and industries.
Fisher, a long-time Nevada lobbyist, has extensive experience with the City of Reno, having represented their interests for several legislative sessions. She is a member of the University of Nevada-Reno President's Legislative Advisory Board. She also serves on the Reno-Tahoe International Airport Authority's Community Outreach Committee and Air Services Task Force, and is a board member on the Reno-Tahoe Winter Games Coalition.
"We will put our talent and experience to work for the City of Reno and are proud to represent our fellow citizens," said Fisher. "We understand the ins and outs of government at all levels, and our combined experience will work in the best interest of the City."
