CITY A.M. distributes 94,566
Online, March 12, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The figure represents a monthly increase of 7.5 per cent.
CITY AM is committed to expanding distribution and on 1 March introduced 14 new distribution points at train stations outside London.
This means 54 per cent of CITY A.M. copies are now distributed to readers outside of the Square Mile compared to only one per cent at time of launch in 2005. This is to ensure that CITY A.M. crosses the path of the commuter up to four times in one journey to make access as easy as possible for the reader.
The paper has become available at the following stations: Greenwich, Bromley South, East Croydon, Sutton, Cheam, Ewell East, Epsom, Ashstead, Leatherhead, Oxshott, Cobham & Stoke D'abernon, Byfleet, Working and Guildford giving readers that chance to catch up on the latest news from the City - from late-breaking business news and comment, to sport, travel and lifestyle features .
CITY AM CEO Jens Torpe said: "This is a great figure and we will see distribution growth over the coming months as CITY A.M. increases distribution points outside of London. It is our job, as THE business newspaper for London, to make it as easy for the reader as possible to pick up a copy of CITY A.M and this expands opportunities for advertisers to reach the paper's high quality audience."
