Online, January 2, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Christian Faith Fellowship Church Round Lake celebrates is second anniversary on January 26, 2012 and invites the local community to celebrate the love of God with them at the Round Lake Beach Sports Center in Round Lake Beach, Illinois.
The multi-cultural, non-denominational community church, located at 2004 Municipal Way, in Round Lake Beach, according to Pastor Choice Harris, has over the past two years been a blessing to the community, both spiritually and naturally.
This much anticipated event will feature deeply moving praise and worship music, praise dancers, fellowship - all in an atmosphere of genuine, unconditional godly love. There will also be acknowledgements and encouragement to the church body to continue doing the work of the Lord.
Bishop E. James Logan, the Founder and Overseer of CFFC Round Lake, will deliver a life changing word that will both encourage and empower everyone in attendance.
"The times we are facing today are like none other. People are looking for relief, change, security and hope for their future. They want to know that someone is genuinely concerned about their entire person (spiritual, physical, emotional, economic, family, etc).
As a Spirit-filled Christian church, we have a mandate to present the power of the Gospel that's able to fulfill those needs," explained Pastor Harris, who shares the ministry with his wife, Adriene.
"Many people in this region are searching for a loving, local church home where they will experience Godly love, feel welcome and be changed by the worship and the relevant preaching and teaching. People want to be a part of something positive." he added.
As Pastor of Christian Faith Fellowship Church Round Lake, he further noted that their desire is for this celebration to bring together local citizens and begin the process of unifying their communities on many levels.
Pastor Choice Harris believes it possible for everyone to be who they are culturally and naturally, and yet worship God together in one accord.
Each year they have also conducted a Unity in the Community Back to School cookout, and distributed over one hundred backpacks, filled with school supplies, to the local area school children.
"We have also given out Thanksgiving turkeys to area families; much needed supplies for women living in shelters, and during Christmas 2011, the church teamed up with Angel Tree and provided toys to children with an incarcerated parent," he added.
