Chinese New Year Art and Design Party Featuring Miami Chef Richard Hales
Miami, FL, February 13, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Miami Ironside celebrates Chinese New Year with an art and design party featuring celebrity chef Richard Hales from Blackbrick Midtown Chinese on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 6-9 p.m. The event is part of Ironside's CounterCulture Club Night series, a once monthly program celebrating themes of cultural, geographic exchanges, art, design, performance and cinema.
Welcoming the year of the Fire Monkey, the evening will feature Asian contemporary art presentations from Art Lexing, Gauchet Fine Art, a vintage fashion pop-up by VIBE Consignment and innovative Taiwanese contemporary design by the district's newest concept retailer and design agency OKKIO, presenting designers such as Woo Collective, Nak-Nak Design and 25 to Go.
The evening will also feature a pop-up dim sum and cocktail bar by Miami chef Richard Hales of Blackbrick Midtown Chinese, voted one of America's top 50 new restaurants.
Salon talk shorts from local American-Chinese luminaries will open up the night, starting at 6:30 p.m.:
