Chinese Lessons Materials Vendor Now Compliant with Hawaii Laws

Schools in Hawaii can now choose from a wider range of Learning Chinese textbooks and educational materials because ChildBook can now provide Chinese educational materials to the State of Hawaii and its counties.

Rowland Heights, Calif., USA - ChildBook.com, a vendor of Learning Chinese materials for children, is now an approved vendor for the Hawaii department of education and other state agencies. Under the state of Hawaii, ChildBook is allowed to conduct business with the State of Hawaii and its counties with the HCE State Tax Status Certificate.

Ray Ritchey of ChildBook states, "We are very pleased that this certification has been released. This means that now we can help out in the language studies of the children in Hawaii by being allowed to provide carefully chosen Chinese educational materials. Schools in Hawaii can now choose from a wider range of Learning Chinese textbooks and educational materials." As for procuring the HCE license, Ritchey adds "We are also very thankful with this online system of processing HCEs. The certification we needed was processed minus the requirement of passing the documents personally."

The HCE certificate, "Certificate of Vendor Compliance," is a legal substitute for a tax clearance, labor certificate, and a Certificate of Good Standing required in Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 103D-310(c) and Hawaii Administrative Rules, Section 3-122-112. This certificate is recognized by the Hawaii State Department of Education in the procurement of children's school materials.
