Cheryl Cole Named Viewers Favourite X Factor Judge
Cheryl Cole has been voted as the viewers favorite X Factor judge of all time. Despite only joining the show two years ago, Cheyl has already become more popular than boss Simon Cowell.
Online, June 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Cheryl Cole has been named by fans of The X Factor as their favourite judge since the show began in 2004. Cole topped a poll of over 5,000 viewers to claim the title with over 60% of the vote.
Music Mogul Simon Cowell came in second place in the vote conducted by TellyMix with 25%, followed by Dannii Minogue in third with 10%.
Sharon Osbourne, whom Cheryl replaced on the panel in 2008, finished the poll in fourth place with 5% of the vote. Louis Walsh came bottom, attracting just 4% of the voters interest.
TellyMix editor Stephen Cook said: "It's clear from the results that Cheryl has won over the nation with her personality on the show, becoming even more popular than her boss Simon Cowell! It's even more of an achievement when you consider Cheryl only joined the programme two years ago.
"Despite being there since the beginning, Louis Walsh coming in last is not that surprising, choosing Jedward on last year's show doesn't seem to have gone done well at all with the public."
5,128 votes were cast on the poll which was conducted by TellyMix's dedicated X Factor website.
