Celebrating National Children's Dental Health Month in LIttleton With Colorado Dental Arts
Littleton, CO, February 20, 2018 (Newswire.com) - February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. Sponsored by the American Dental Association, “this month-long national health observance brings together thousands of dedicated dental professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others.” Colorado Dental Arts in Littleton is participating in this national campaign by bringing dental health awareness to area kindergartners and offering free exams and x-rays to children without a dentist.
Elementary School Visits for Dental Health
Dr. Phil Nguyen of Colorado Dental Arts will visit area elementary schools during the third week of February. He will stress the importance of good oral hygiene at home and regular visits to the dentist. Every child will receive a free bag of dental goodies and tools to take home and apply what they have learned. Schools interested in scheduling a visit may contact Colorado Dental Arts via their website or by calling 303-872-9436.
Free Exams and X-Rays for Children in February
As a follow up to the elementary school visits, Colorado Dental Arts is offering free exams and x-rays for children without their own dentist. One proven way to avoid cavities is to visit a dentist for a dental exam and cleaning every six months. By starting this habit early, children can avoid the pain and discomfort that comes from tooth decay.
The founding dentist at Colorado Dental Arts, Dr. Thomas Froning, says the following about the team at his Littleton dental practice: “I consider myself very fortunate to have such a highly skilled team that not only loves dentistry, but also gets excited about making a difference in people’s lives, especially the lives of children.” The helpful professionals at Colorado Dental Arts encourage everyone in the Littleton area to join them in bringing dental hygiene awareness to young ones during National Children’s Dental Health Month in February.
