Carrie Pittman Art Has a New Home

Birmingham, AL, April 6, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Carrie Pittman has expanded her abstract art to At Home Furnishings located in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the first time in its 23 year history, in which At Home Furnishings has collaborated with a local artist.  Babbie Styslinger, owner said, “we are very excited to represent Carrie Pittman Art”. Carrie creates unique and timeless pieces that play with color, texture, and light.  "Growing up in Birmingham, I’m excited to be a part of what has been my favorite home decor store since it opened. Carrie started painting two years ago to bring beauty and authenticity to her own life. She loves the fact that, “art has no rights or wrongs, do’s or dont’s.  I am only limited by my own mind and imagination. There’s so much power and confidence in that!” Her passion as an artist was ever evolving while growing up in a creative home. "My mom is a very creative person. She was always teaching us to make things, and more importantly, found a use for everything—nothing was wasted.  She sees the beauty in everything and celebrates creativity in all forms. My dad is a business man, but very creative in problem solving and in his thinking. I am blessed to have grown up with both parents with different creative abilities.”
