Carmen Mariano Ed. D.'s New Book 'The Strength of a Story' is an Incredible Collection of Stories That Renews, Revives, Reviews, and Relives Life

When Carmen Mariano, Fulton Books author, was 6 years old, his father gave him some advice. He said, "Carmen, whatever you do, stay in school."

Carmen listened to his dad.  He did stay in school - for 68 years.

Carmen Mariano is 74 years old and has been in school as a student, teacher, coach or administrator since he was 6.

In that time, Carmen has earned his Bachelor's Degree from The Catholic University of America, a Master's degree from The Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Boston College.

He has also taught classes and spoken to audiences in 25 states and five countries, and spent almost 40 years teaching, learning, speaking, and leading within the Quincy, MA Public Schools, Quincy College at Plymouth, Archbishop Williams High School, and more.

All of that has taught Carmen that whether an audience is young or old, tough or tender, friendly or frigid, the eyes and ears of that audience are earned best by stories.

Stories are the part of life that sticks to our ribs. They are the "spaghetti and meatballs of our Sunday night supper!"

In the words of Maya Angelou, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." Ms. Angelou is right.

So, protect yourself from the kind of untold story that Ms. Angelou is talking about. Read the Strength of a Story.

Readers who wish to experience this great work can purchase "The Strength of a Story" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes & Noble.
