Caribbean Cruise Line Charities And The Hope On Water Program

Caribbean Cruise Line is a proud supporter of various charities to include Children Battling Cancer and Abbey's Place. Caribbean Cruise Line Philanthropy is important to us as Caribbean Cruise Line believes giving back to the community is vital.

Caribbean Cruise Line offers a variety of articles to assist you with all your cruise needs in the Caribbean and the Bahamas in specific. Caribbean Cruise Line reviews vacation destinations in the Bahamas to include Our Lucaya and Grand Bahama Island. The Bahamas is officially known as the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and is a nation consisting of more than 3,000 islands, cays, and islets so it would be impossible for Caribbean Cruise Line to review all the possible destinations. However, some of the most popular Caribbean Cruise Line destinations include beaches and resorts and shopping locations, so Caribbean Cruise Line offers informative articles relating to these interests. We hope your next vacation is memorable and that you find our articles helpful.

Caribbean Cruise Line Philanthropy is an important aspect of everything that Caribbean Cruise Line represents as a company. And in keeping with Caribbean Cruise Line commitment to services, they are pleased to share some information about just one of the many services Caribbean Cruise line is committed to in their community: the Hope on Water Campaign.

The Children Battling Cancer foundation and Caribbean Cruise Line are partnering to give the families of pediatric cancer a little bit of Hope on Water.

The mission of the Children Battling Cancer Foundation is to "bridge the gap between the community and families battling childhood cancer by raising awareness within the community while bringing practical help and lasting hope directly to the families of childhood cancer." The Children Battling Cancer Foundation and Caribbean Cruise Line understands that when confronted with a diagnosis of pediatric cancer, the entire family suffers and not just the child facing the disease. This is why the Hope On Water program is so very important.

Through the Hope on Water program and the generosity of the Caribbean Cruise Line, each month Children Battling Cancer sends a pediatric oncology family on a much needed all expense paid vacation to the Bahamas aboard this fun ship.

This is something Children Battling Cancer knows a little something about. This foundation was founded by a family who experienced the effects of childhood cancer first hand when their own 9 year old son was diagnosed with an aggressive form of blood cancer called Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Two years of chemotherapy often lead to low blood counts, which in turn lead isolation and the inability to attend everyday events.

As families facing the leading cause of death in children, a cruise to the Bahamas is a lot more than a family vacation. It is a time to build some fun memories as a family during a very difficult time.

Children Battling Cancer realizes the entire family suffers when there is a diagnosis of this magnitude so the Hope on Water program makes every effort to ensure that the siblings and parents are also treated to some much needed fun and relaxation while aboard the ship.

Each Hope on Water experience is tailored to meet the needs of the family sailing according to the size of the family and the age of the patient and their siblings. Children Battling Cancer and Caribbean Cruise Line are proud of their level of services to families as well as to children battling cancer and look forward to a long and successful program.

Caribbean Cruise Line and The Children Battling Cancer Foundation have been offering these all expense paid cruises since late 2009 and look forward to a long and meaningful partnership moving forwards.
