Caribbean Cruise Line Bahamas Celebration Reviews Bahamas Beaches
Online, May 11, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Caribbean Cruise Line offers a variety of articles to assist you with all your cruise needs in the Caribbean and the Bahamas in specific. Caribbean Cruise Line reviews vacation destinations in the Bahamas to include Our Lucaya and Grand Bahama Island. The Bahamas is officially known as the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and is a nation consisting of more than 3,000 islands, cays, and islets so it would be impossible for Caribbean Cruise Line to review all the possible destinations. However, some of the most popular Caribbean Cruise Line destinations include beaches and resorts and shopping locations, so Caribbean Cruise Line offers informative articles relating to these interests. We hope your next vacation is memorable and that you find our articles helpful.
Lucayan Beach
Lucayan Beach is located across from the Port Lucaya hotels. This popular tourist beach has just about any water-sport activity, from snorkeling to parasailing. It's also a nice stretch of beach for strolling. Coral Beach is a walk to the west.
Mather Town Beach
Mather Town Beach is about three miles from Port Lucaya. There are limited water activities, but it is a great beach for swimming, eating, drinking and hanging out with the locals. Club Caribe restaurant and Margaritavilla Sand Bar are located here.
Paradise Beach
While this is perhaps the nicest Bahamas beach on Paradise Island, it can be difficult to access if you don't live on the island year round. Guests of the Atlantis Hotel have unlimited access to the beach, and portions are of course always open to locals. Little huts can be found all over the beach, which provide a place to change, eat, and get out of the sun here and there.
Peterson Cay Beach
Peterson's Cay is a mile offshore, surrounded by active coral reefs which provides excellent opportunities for snorkeling or diving. The cay is perfect for picnics and relaxation. Since this is a protected area; leave only footprints, take only memories and photos.
Pink sands Beach
The Caribbean Travel and Life magazine rated this beach as one of the best in the Caribbean. As the name implies, the sand is pink. It offers some of the safest place to swim in the Bahamas thanks to the coral reef protecting it. Pink Sand Beach is located near Dunmore Town and right by Pink Sands Hotel. There are some hotels located rather close to the beach but not adjacent to it, which means you can relax here without encountering the hoards of tourists.
Smith's Point Beach
Smith's Point Beach is located in Lucaya, adjacent to Taino Beach. It is famous for its Wednesday night "Fish Fry."
Stocking Island Beaches
Easily reachable by boat from Elizabeth Harbour, Stocking Island has some of the finest white sand beaches in The Bahamas. Snorkelers and divers love to explore the island's blue holes, coral gardens and undersea caves. Stocking Island is also home to Stromatolites, which are said to be the oldest.
Tahiti Beach
You'll find this to be one of the quietest beaches in Abacos. This is one of the more popular beaches for couples and those who love to sail. Abacos is a popular sailing port and the beach is quite nice. To get there, you'll either have to sail in from the sea or walk or bike along a gravel road. Cars can't drive on the road, which is one of the reasons the beach remains quiet.
