CareFRESH® Featured In Lifetime Television's Project Runway

In its ninth season, television series Project Runway has featured CareFRESH® brand. The first episode in the series aired on July 28th on the Lifetime network.

Twenty contestants begin on the reality show; each a fashion designer, and each having a unique background. With every show new challenges are presented to the designers. In this episode, the challenge was to use pet supplies to construct a high fashion garment. Designers Olivier Green, Bryce Black, and Cecilia Motwani chose to use CareFRESH as part of their outfit creations. At the end of each episode, host and supermodel Heidi Klum along with her panel of judges decides which designers are "in" or "out." For this episode, Green was chosen as the winner.

In the latest episode of season nine, designers made outfits with pet products. Challenge winner Olivier Green incorporated CareFRESH bedding into his design along with designers Bryce Black and Cecilia Motwani.

Project Runway is a Lifetime Television reality show where fashion designers are presented with weekly challenges to create the best outfit. Judges include host and supermodel Heidi Klum, designer Michael Kors, Marie Claire fashion director Nina Garcia and Liz Claiborne Inc. Chief Creative Officer Tim Gunn. The winner will receive $100,000 from L'Oreal Paris to start a line, spread in Marie Claire magazine and a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel to create a business and sell a collection to Piperlime.com.

This season, Project Runway is incorporating social media into the voting process. All 20 contestants are assigned a Twitter hashtag, and anytime the hashtag is mentioned throughout the season, it is counted as a vote. At the end of the season, the designer with the most Twitter votes will win $10,000.
