Calling All Presidents - Celebrate Leadership with Colonial Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg offers a holiday weekend of activities and fun for the family.

This President's Day weekend, Colonial Williamsburg invites all Presidents and families to experience the thrill of history and democracy in the Revolutionary City. From book club to student council, garden club to class president, those who bring proof of presidency - a card, picture, website on a smartphone - will receive free admission as the citizens of the Revolutionary City celebrate leadership of all forms.

On the presidential agenda is the inaugural Breakfast with the Presidents, special thematic daytime and evening programming, and a value-loaded package perfect for a weekend getaway.

On Saturday, February 18, families who attend Colonial Williamsburg's first Breakfast with the Presidents will have an opportunity to hear Presidents Washington, Jefferson and Madison discuss the trials and tribulations of being a leader, the perks of being president, and what they love about their jobs. Following the presentation, guests will have a chance to participate in a Q&A session with these American leaders and then participate with the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums in a spirited march to the Capitol. Families can enjoy breakfast for $29.95 for adults and $14.95 for children.

Special evening programs are scheduled throughout the weekend, as well. To Washington's Health spotlights music familiar to George Washington; From Coronation to Inauguration is an evening concert at the Governor's Palace, once home to Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson; and an Evening with the Presidents invites guests to join Jefferson, Madison, and Washington for a performance on the stage.

Salute and celebrate Presidents Washington, Jefferson and Madison, alongside influential contemporaries Patrick Henry and the Marquis de Lafayette as they address the challenges and triumphs of their day throughout Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area. Colonial Williamsburg's 21st century restaurants and select 18th century taverns and will all be open for dining.
