Call of the Wild Adventures Introduces Trek Around Mont Blanc!
Bend, OR, June 26, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Call of the Wild Adventures, Inc. is pleased to introduce a new trip in the Alps this year. July 2015 will mark the inaugural Tour Du Mont Blanc trek. Hiking hut to hut with a day pack makes this sound like a walk in the park, but it is anything but easy.
Call of the Wild owner, Emilie Cortes, stated that the trip was a direct response to client demand. "We really take client feedback to heart. Over and over again, our clients were asking for a Call of the Wild Tour du Mont Blanc trek. To the best of our knowledge, there is no other all female version of this trip on the market. They asked, and we have delivered!"
Owner Emilie Cortes explains: "This hike is sure to be a challenge but will be packed with unrivaled rewards and vistas. Great food, good company, amazing views and spectacular terrain to name a few; not to mention staying in huts every night."
Emilie Cortes, President
Women who love to hike and embrace a challenge will be anxious to try this jewel of a route. With over 33,000 vertical feet of elevation gain and covering a 110 miles, this spectacular hike circumnavigates the Mont Blanc Massif. The scenery and wildlife are second to none and adventurous women will enjoy the continuity between the cuisine and cultures at the French, Swiss and Italian run huts.
Participants on this trip will meet their guides in the famous mountain town of Chamonix where the route begins. From Chamonix, the route traverses below alpine glaciers and passes over many mountain passes with views of glacially formed valleys below. The bulk of the route stays at elevations between 5,000 and 8,000 ft. with a high point of 8,700 feet depending on conditions.
This trip, like all Call of the Wild Adventures, is a women specific trip. With female guides and all female hikers, the mission as always is to have a supportive and fun adventure where the group can celebrate the outdoors together.
