Cage and Ring Fan Looks to Reach 2,000 Facebook Fans by End of April

Become a fan of Cage and Ring Fan on Facebook and sign up to receive the monthly newsletter and you will automatically be entered in a drawing to win the recently released DVD Unrivaled

(LAS VEGAS, NV)-Cage and Ring Fan- www.cageandringfan.com, a website geared towards providing mixed martial arts fans with the top MMA news out of Las Vegas and the rest of the world, is on course to reach 2,000 Facebook fans by the end of April.

On top of being able to read about the top news in the MMA world, as an added incentive to becoming a fan, those who sign up for the Cage and Ring Fan monthly newsletter will automatically be entered in a drawing to win the recently released DVD Unrivaled, starring UFC fighters Keith Jardine, Rashad Evans and Forrest Griffin. The winner will be announced on April 15.

"We're hoping that through the offering of Unrivaled more people will join the site," says James Lawrence, Founder of Cage and Ring Fan. "The more fans we get can lead to more sponsorship opportunities, which in turn will allow us to keep providing MMA fans with all things MMA."

Since the development of the site in 2009, MMA fans worldwide have flocked to the site to read coverage of Cage and Ring Fan's Las Vegas and national MMA scene, their opinion articles about fighters and events, and their monthly model feature titled the "Caged Babe", which has quickly become a fan favorite.

What separates Cage and Ring Fan from the many other MMA sites is that it's a site for MMA fans, run by MMA fans. It is devoted to all things MMA-featuring both professional and amateur fighters, and covering the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce and other MMA venues around the country.

"There are many great MMA sites out there, and although the writers may be fans of MMA, none of the sites are truly run and constructed by fans only," says James. "We offer a unique variety of news and articles that cater to avid MMA fans of all ages."

Through word of mouth and internet networking tools such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, Cage and Ring Fan has acquired a greater internet presence and continues to grow on a daily basis. Whereas the site received less than 2,000 monthly hits a year ago, more than 25,000 people visit it now and the number is only increasing as it gains more exposure.

"As an avid fan of MMA, I had always wanted to be involved in the sport one way or the other," says James. "My goal is that through the site we can bring a fan's MMA perspective to our readers, and ultimately become one of the leading MMA sites in the country."
