C&J Wealth Advisors Campaign Raises Money for ADFAC
Oak Ridge, TN, August 4, 2015 (Newswire.com) - C&J Wealth Advisors engaged their client base in a fundraising campaign that generated over $3,600 for Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties’ (ADFAC) School Supplies Program. For every client donation, C&J Wealth Advisors made a financial pledge in addition to their corporate donation and volunteer efforts. This will help to purchase approximately 72 backpacks and supplies.
ADFAC’s 2015 goal is to provide 2,800 backpacks filled with school supplies to underprivileged Anderson County children. In 2014, ADFAC helped 2,534 children in 29 area schools to have the necessary supplies. According to ADFAC, this was only 38% of the children that could have benefited from the 2014 program and the need grows.
"They (C&J Wealth Advisors) provided leadership and generosity for the School Supply Program by initiating a brand new way to raise funds for the program."
Annie Cacheiro, Executive Director, ADFAC
“We are grateful to our clients for their gracious contributions,” says Mark King, President of C&J Wealth Advisors. “The staff at ADFAC does an outstanding job of spearheading this project. A tremendous amount of skillful purchasing and organization makes this possible. Our team enjoyed helping assemble and deliver the backpacks for two area schools. I only wish we could see the faces of the kids when they pick out their backpack. It was a gratifying day.”
“ADFAC is so blessed to have the corporate support from C&J,” says Annie Cacheiro, ADFAC’s Executive Director. “They provided leadership and generosity for the School Supply Program by initiating a brand new way to raise funds for the program. It was a win-win-win for donors, C&J and ADFAC!”
