The Pub Theater Company announces the expansion of "Bye Bye Liver: The St. Louis Drinking Play" into a second venue with a Friday May 6th opening date confirmed for the Fox Hole at Atomic Cowboy. The Fox Hole will present shows at 8pm on the first and third Friday of each month, May through August, to run concurrently with the popular 8pm Saturday series at Maggie O'Brien's. Tickets for events at both locations are on sale now for $14 and available by calling the Box Office at (314) 827-4185 or online at www.byebyeliver.com/stlouis.

The cast of Bye Bye Liver is capitalizing on St. Louis' seemingly unquenchable thirst for bawdy, alcohol-infused comedy and building on the momentum of 14 consecutive sold-out Saturday shows at downtown hotspot Maggie O'Brien's. With the addition of a second venue this summer, The Pub Theater Company aims to double the number of tickets it can offer while reaching a broader audience of local rowdies via a base in the increasingly vibrant entertainment district of "The Grove."

Among the pioneer locations for performing arts in "The Grove" neighborhood, The Atomic Cowboy complex is known for hosting a broad spectrum of live music, burlesque, comedy and variety events in the Fox Hole and on its three other stages. As the weather heats up, so does the Atomic Cowboy entertainment schedule, and Bye Bye Liver's weekly cast parties will take advantage of a sprawling outdoor patio space and post-show entertainment from some of St. Louis' most notable DJ's and live musicians.

An established feature on Chicago's comedy scene for over four years, Bye Bye Liver's signature cocktail of laughter and booze has an appeal proven transcendent of its parent city. In addition to Chicago, productions are ongoing in Milwaukee, St. Paul and Toronto. No market, however, has embraced this unique brand of 100-proof comedy with more enthusiasm than St. Louis. Since opening here in September, attendance has continued to exceed even optimistic projections. Birthday, bachelorette and other parties increasingly drive large groups to the show while local media have offered consistent support for this niche entertainment option.

"Mix-Off for Mother Earth," an Earth Day event on April 22 from 8pm-midnight, will herald the Bye Bye Liver series expansion at The Fox Hole, while raising funds and awareness for the Wildlife Rescue Center of Missouri. Audiences can preview games and sketches from the Bye Bye Liver playbook while challenging some of St. Louis' best bartenders to build and present unique, Earth Day-themed cocktails for up to a $1000 top cash prize. Bartenders interested in competing can contact Event Director Casey Scott at cscott @hwykey.com. Tickets for the Mix-Off are $18 and available through Bye Bye Liver ticket outlets at (314) 827-4185 or online at byebyeliver.com/stlouis.
