Business Ethics Showcased at 11th Greater Dallas Business Ethics Awards

Winners will be announced from eight finalist companies for the 2011 Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award at a luncheon Tuesday, May 17th at the Westin Galleria Hotel. Event begins with networking at 11:30 a.m. and awards program at noon.

While ethics in business continues to capture headlines and make the evening news, not all ethics news is bad. In fact, Dallas will celebrate business ethics and honor leading companies that have proven their commitment to ethical business practices at the 11th Annual Greater Dallas Business Ethics Awards program, presented by accounting and advisory firm BKD, Tuesday, May 17, at the Westin Galleria Hotel. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program starts at noon. Other sponsors include the Dallas Business Journal and Allegiant Wealth Management.

The Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award recognizes public and private companies headquartered in the Dallas region that demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices in their everyday operations, management philosophies, and in response to crises or challenges. A nine-member judging panel representing academia, local businesses and former GDBEA award recipients individually reviewed the eight finalist submissions and determined the winning companies.

• Brinker International
• Cassandra Fine Catering

"These finalists are each a terrific example of businesses operating under ethical principles and doing the right thing for their company and the clients they serve.
